What are the section dimensions and spacing of framing
100mm framing spaced at 600mm centres. We make the framing of the building and apply a plywood skin to the outside to make the frame rigid. This also provides a nicer finish to the inside of the building. The bitumen paper (vapour barrier) in on the back of the ply, followed by the external shiplap cladding.
What is the shiplap and is it treated
The shiplap is 16mm x 125mm and it is pressure treated (tanalised)
- What does the plywood lining do.
The plywood lining is WBP grade and stiffens the framework of the building. Internally it improves the look of the garage, and coupled witht he shiplap cladding, externally is provides a very efficient double exterior skin.

What are Felt Tiles and how are they fitted.
The felt tiles are a 1m wide sheet and have 4 tiles within the profile. The tiles are fitted onto underfelt, which completely covers the OSB boarding. Only half of the sheet is displayed as it is covered by the upper level, hence 3 layers of roofing material cover the OSB. The edges are finished with a finishing trim, as is the ridge line. Colours available are brown and grey.

It is suitable for you to fill between the upright framing with insulation and internally line with plywood or plasterboard - should you require. You are also welcome to fit your own electrics into the garage after assembly. You will need to use a qualified electrician to do this work.
